WATCH THE WEBINAR REPLAY

In January 2023, Coinbase, a publicly traded firm and one of the largest global crypto exchanges, was hit with a staggering $100 million fine by New York’s Department of Financial Services (DFS).

The settlement requires Coinbase to pay $50 million penalty and to invest an additional $50 million in its compliance programme, because of “wide-ranging and long-standing failures” in the company’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and systems.

Watch the replay of this hard-hitting webinar in which Stephen Platt, CEO of RiskScreen, explored what went wrong at Coinbase and the lessons businesses can learn from its mistakes.
